There are dogs that touch our hands.
There are dogs that touch our food.
There are even dogs that touch their cold noses to our bare butts.
Then, there are dogs that touch these and a whole lot more, especially our hearts and our lives.
SAMPSON OF THE NORTHWEST
December 17, 1995 - May 19, 2008
Sampson was a wonderful companion, father, and friend.
He was a true master hunter who knew the field better than any titled dog.
He could track downed birds and knew the honks of geese.
He loved the newborns and would treat them as if they were his own.
He was a patient and obedient friend to our daughter
and would lie endlessly by her side when she was a baby.
He is the definition of "A DOG FOR ALL REASONS"
He is truly loved and will be painfully missed.
Goodbye old man.
